Hi, I'm Caleb. I build things.

Professionally, I'm a Platform Engineering Manager who loves empowering teams to architect rock-solid services. My day job is all about AWS, but GCP is the playground for my personal projects, giving me a solid foot in both ecosystems. I focus on clearing roadblocks so engineers can do their best work, but I still love getting deep into the technical weeds when it counts.

Outside of the cloud, I apply that same maker mindset to just about everything else. I'm a woodworker and an artist, an unapologetic nerd, and a home chef who will choose flavor over everything else when firing up the pellet grill. When I'm not wrangling infrastructure, or my two boys, you can probably find me playing basketball, golfing, or out camping.

Whether it's a highly scalable platform or a physical project in the shop, my philosophy is the same: I just love making things work beautifully.
